VISION
We deliver various services mainly in the field of Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects.
In addition to our experienced staff, our greatest strength is the diverse networks both in Japan and overseas, which we have built up with our policy of “valuing the site” since the commencement.
We would contribute to developing resources leading the next generation together with our valued business partners.
Message from President
Soon after our company launched, the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake hit Japan in January 1995. It was beyond our imagination and forced a significant change in our business philosophy. While participating in volunteer activities in the affected area, we had built a company structure with the intense awareness of "people, nature and community" that became the basis of our company's philosophy.
Many of our staff have experienced volunteer activities in developing countries as Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) and have cooperated to help revitalize the region with each own technology. The staff's enthusiasm led to our philosophy of "Aiming for harmony between people and nature, and creating networks for the community." Therefore, our company name "CDC" derives from the "Center for Diverse Creation."
Since its establishment, we have dispatched experts to many ODA projects worldwide. We especially had achievements in agriculture projects such as collaborating with a university research institute or providing technical cooperation receiving trainees from countries such as the Philippines. Other achievements, we have experienced managing the secretariat of various events such as JA, as well as public relations for private companies or support for their overseas expansion. Through these past achievements, we take pride in contributing to society with the best use of our staff members' knowledge and networks.
However, in the times, the society as well as the environment have been changing drastically due to the rapid progress of globalization and more advanced information technology. The needs of local communities at home and abroad are more complex and diverse, ranging from tackling global issues (poverty, conflict, environmental destruction, and so on) to specific local problems.
Now, in order to respond to these diversified challenges, we will consolidate the experience and knowledge we have accumulated and proceed with more collaboration with the partners such as private companies, public corporations, academic research institutes, or universities. We would like to develop a "network-type business proposal" and add value with our networks of valuable partners.
We would contribute to creating a society where people can develop economically and socially and live in prosperity and peace together by maximizing our expertise and promoting the revitalization of local communities.
